150 years of international rugby: “Let’s remember the pioneers”

March 27th was the 150th anniversary of the first ever game of international rugby – in 1871 Scotland beat England at Raeburn Place, Edinburgh. Inducting the entire 1871 Scotland team into its Hall of Fame and creating a documentary exploring the social, political and sporting background to this enormous day in sporting history, Scottish Rugby and The Raeburn Place Foundation took this occasion to celebrate the trail-blazers of international rugby.
