Art Collectors William And Lavina Lim Donate Nearly 100 Artworks To M+ In Hong Kong

Art collectors William and Lavina Lim generously donated a major collection of artwork to the museum M+ in the hope that it will be discovered by more people and educate people on the contemporary art scene in Hong Kong. Enriching Hong Kong’s arts and culture scene, it is now considered one of the most significant private collections of art from the past two decades.

Hong Kong’s art scene has boomed since the early 2000’s, with many artists there now seeing international recognition: this is reflected in the Lim’s collection, originally on display in their industrial warehouse and now on display in Asia’s first international museum of contemporary art and culture.
