ASI Announces New Support Partner in Asia
The Asia Scotland Institute is delighted to announce the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) as a supporter.
The Asian Development Bank Institute was established in 1997 in Tokyo, Japan, to help build capacity, skills, and knowledge related to poverty reduction and other areas that support long-term growth and competitiveness in developing economies in Asia and the Pacific.
Following meetings in Edinburgh with the Chief Executive Officer, Dean Yoshino, Senior Consulting Economist, Peter Morgan, and Research Fellow, Bihong Huang, support for the Asia Scotland Institute was formally agreed.
Commenting on ADBI support, David Birrell, Asia Scotland Institute Director, said: ‘As we extend our reach in Asia, we are delighted to be working together with ADBI who were ranked second among world’s government-affiliated think tanks in 2017’.
