Gordon Dewar joins ASI
Gordon Dewar, Chief Executive of Edinburgh AirportAsia Scotland Institute is delighted to welcome on board Gordon Dewar, the latest distinguished member of our International Advisory Council.
Gordon is the Chief Executive of Edinburgh Airport, a post he took up in 2012.
Under his stewardship, Edinburgh Airport has consolidated itself as one of Europe’s leading airports. It has been named Best European Airport of its size by the Airports Council International for the past three years.
Before taking up his current role, Gordon was the Chief Executive of Bahrain Airport. He has also served as managing director of both Edinburgh and Glasgow airports.
Gordon said, “I’m delighted to have been appointed to the International Advisory Council of the Asia Scotland Institute. Asia is our largest growth market for tourism and trade and I’m looking forward to working with my colleagues to help grow Scotland’s connectivity with this exciting new audience.”
