Heriot-Watt University Student Hub

The Heriot-Watt University Global Student Hub connects the Asia Scotland Institute to the extremely vibrant student body of the university across its campuses. Our active community of Ambassadors ensures a grass-root approach in encouraging the next generation to engage with Asia.

“Fantastic that ASI was able to bring such an excellent speaker to this event. There was great discussion around poverty and inequality, and I think there’s a lot more we can do moving forward from here.”

-K. Gillespie, Economics Student

Become an Ambassador

FIRESDIECHATWe are currently expanding our Student Hub initiative. Being an Ambassador at the Asia Scotland Institute will provide you with a hands-on learning opportunity. As it’s a Global Student Hub students are able to participate across Heriot-Watt University’s campuses in Scotland, Dubai, and Malaysia.

We are introducing Fire Side Chats, in which students are able to speak privately with our guest speakers prior to our events. This is a great opportunity to meet global leaders, ranging from CEO’s of global companies, from heads of state to renowned economists and successful authors.

Noel Lateef will be presenting ‘The Imperative of Conflict Prevention in the 21st Century’ in Edinburgh on the 15th of October. Noel Lateef is currently President and CEO of the Foreign Policy Association in New York. Sign up by clicking on the button below using the discount code HW201819
