Asia Scotland Institute Breakfast Briefing with Dr. Michael Marett-Crosby

The Asia Scotland Institute will be hosting an exclusive breakfast for members and partners with Dr. Michael Marett-Crosby.

Myanmar’s recent political reforms, strategic geopolitical location, a nascent return from the diplomatic wilderness, and an economy expected to quadruple in size by 2030 make it a country and market of growing significance. The Asia Scotland Institute is delighted to host this roundtable breakfast discussion on the opportunities, risks, and future potential of Myanmar for the benefit of our partners. We are also delighted to welcome Dr Michael Marett-Crosby to Edinburgh to share his first-hand knowledge and insights. Dr Marett-Crosby serves as Director of the Daw Aung San Suu Kyi Trust for Health and Education, and is a Trustee of Prospect Burma. He has known Aung San Suu Kyi his whole life, and frequently travels to Burma to a range of projects in the country.
