Dr Howard Dryden is a leading Marine Biologist and Businessman who founded Dryden Aqua, based in Scotland and has created one of the world’s most effective water treatment companies which has had a major impact in Asia where pollution calls for radical efforts to improve the availability of drinking water. Through his involvement with the Global Oceanic Environmental Survey (GOES) project, Dr Dryden will speak on How to Stop Climate Change in the lead up to the COP 26 meetings being held in Glasgow in November.
Dryden Aqua’s activated filter medium (AFM) provides the citizens of Chennai, Pune and Bangalore with over 100 million litres of water per day which is set to double every year. Groundwater and most surface water sources in India are grossly contaminated. There are also other projects in Vietnam and China, which Dr Dryden describes as “to provide solutions that have a positive environmental impact on our ecosystem. We help make this world a better place: a non-toxic environment for everyone.”
