Visit to Tsinghua-Berkeley Shenzhen Institute (TBSI)On 23 October, we visited the office of TBSI to discuss collaboration opportunities with HKCCI and Unviersity of Edinburgh on education. TBSI is a central hub of global research and education designed to promote global research collaboration and graduate student education.
Visit to Shenzhen HKJC Technology Development OfficeWe visited the Shenzhen HKJC office on 23 October, which is a subsidiary company of Hong Kong Jockey Club (HKJC) that provides IT solutions through the development of technologies and applications to enhance customers’ experience.
We are Wokring with Shor CommunicationsShor Communications is a media consultancy that offers a range of ‘no frills’ training courses, media advice and workshops designed to enhance presentational skills, strengthen communications infrastructure and equip people with the tools to raise awareness of their environmental cause with confidence. We are working with Shor Communications to find Hong Kong partners who would be interested in bespoke courses that will help raise the profile of their work both internally and externally.
BRE China Associates 2017 Annual DinnerPartners and associates of BRE China gathered on 2 November to discuss the future directions and strategies of BRE in China, particularly in the areas of green building standards and accredited training courses.
Household Food Waste SeminarWe participated in the seminar on 19 October. Representatives from green groups, academia, property management sector, and the community delivered talks on the importance of behavioural change to reducing food waste and technologies that are available to process the waste.
Hong Kong Zero Carbon Partnership (HKZCP) WorkshopOn 29 September, we joined a workshop held by HKZCP. Participants discussed the strategic future of the Partnership and development of zero-carbon buildings in Hong Kong.
