On 12-13 October Manjeet Kripalani, Executive Director, and Amit Bhandari, Fellow, Energy and Environment Studies, Gateway House attended the Russian International Affairs Council and Indian Council of World Affairs International Conference in Moscow. The theme of the conference was “Strategic Visions of Russia-Inida Relations and Changes in World Order”.

On 12 October, Ambassador Neelam Deo was in Rome where she attended the Istituto Affari Internazionali book launch event. The book is titled “Moving Forward EU-India Relations: The Significance of the Security Dialogue”, and is on output of a project led by Istituto Affari Internazionali in partnership with Gateway House. Deo also gave an address on “India and the EU: Changing the Game”.

On 8-10 October, Neelam Deo, Director, Gateway House was a panelist at the 21st Forum 2000 Conference in Prague. The theme of this years conference was Strengthening Democracy in Uncertain Times. She spoke on the panel on “South Asia: Religion, Authoritarianism and Democracy”.
